For most of my adult life, I understood that how we live quietly shapes how we feel. But entering my fifties made me more aware of the small shifts that many people experience in midlife—changes in energy, clarity, and overall well-being. It wasn’t a dramatic turning point; it was a gradual realization that I didn’t feel like myself anymore.
Then, one day, I saw a photo of myself at my daughter’s middle school graduation. I barely recognized the woman in the picture. That moment gently pushed me to re-evaluate what true wellness meant—and to return to the lifestyle that had shaped me years ago in Greece.
I reached a point where the way I was living no longer felt sustainable.

The Slow Return

When I realized I was drifting away from what made me feel grounded, I didn’t overhaul my life overnight. I simply began returning to practices that had always felt natural to me—small daily rituals rooted in Greek simplicity and Mediterranean well-being.
homemade bread
evening Greek mountain tea
fresh, unprocessed meals
sunlight
daily walks
better sleep
less sugar
homemade pizza on Fridays

Slowly, my body responded. I felt clearer, lighter, and more present. I began to recognize myself again.
The Power of the Greek Sea

Every summer when I return to Greece, I feel renewed within days. The sunsets over the Corinthian Sea feel almost mystical—the light melting into the horizon, the sound of waves brushing the pebbles, the calm that settles into your chest.
Sometimes I film these sunsets so I can bring that peace home, replaying them whenever I need a moment of grounding.
There is a kind of healing that only the sea understands.
Why I Created Elysian Blue Living
I wanted to share what has shaped me—Greek simplicity, nourishment, nature, and intentional living. I created Elysian Blue Living as a gentle space where others can reconnect with themselves and rediscover well-being through small, meaningful habits.
My hope is to offer:
wellness insights inspired by Greek living
reflections rooted in slow living and simplicity
practical rituals for energy and clarity
guidance for midlife vitality
a supportive community
and, eventually, immersive retreats in Greece
I want people to feel seen in their fatigue, hopeful in their desire for change, and empowered to believe that renewal is possible at any age.
The Retreats: Stepping Into a New World

When guests arrive at our retreats, I want them to feel an immediate softening—a sense that they can finally let go of their daily rhythm and step into a peaceful, nurturing environment.
Through gentle excursions, sunsets, communal meals, and meaningful expert sessions, guests experience the Greek way of living well. As the saying goes, traveling reveals the different ways people live—and sometimes, you discover a way of living that becomes your own.
